Pray For Life
We understand that prayer is the greatest weapon of war against abortion. Abby Johnson, the former clinic director of Planned Parenthood in the US, has told us that when people were praying outside the abortion clinic, up to 75% of the abortion appointments were cancelled! She worked at the clinic for several years and saw how prayer had a direct impact on reducing the number of abortions.
Ephesians 6:12 tells us: "For it is not against flesh and blood that we fight, but against governments and spiritual powers, against the rulers of the world in this darkness and against the evil spirits of the heavenly realms."

Support person for a woman or family in a situation of unexpected pregnancy
Many women in a situation of unexpected pregnancy experience loneliness and/or have a difficult situation for which they would need support. You don't need to be a psychologist by profession, or even a crisis specialist, but most women in a crisis situation just need someone who can be there to encourage them, walk alongside them or help with everyday tasks.
The most important trait is that you have a vulnerable heart and want to help.
There is always a demand for spare mums and dads too. There are women and families who, for one reason or another, do not have their own grandparents in their children's or grandchildren's lives. The care, wisdom and support of older people are great resources in the lives of families.

Lobbying and raising the profile of the issue
Many do not understand the reality of abortion and its impact on women. There is little truthful discussion in our society and in the media about abortion and its consequences. Nor are these little people growing in the womb given any kind of dignity.
Even though we can now see from ultrasound how developed the little human being in the mother's womb is from very early weeks, the dignity of the life of a womb baby is still hardly mentioned.
Would you like to be one of them, telling the story of the dignity of these little individuals' lives? Sometimes just changing one person's mind about abortion can save a life.
For example, you can raise the issue at school, approach decision-makers, raise the issue in your church, write to the public section or share the issue on social media. We've all been given a voice, so why not use it?
